Start Proceedure (Rider Staging)

At 7:30am we will ask riders to begin staging at the Start/Finish banner. The objective of staging the riders is to keep our ride safe. By starting the faster riders in the front there will be less passing and less chances of a crash.

We will stage the riders in three groups. For simplicity, we'll call them "Race", "Fitness", and "Social". You should be able to decide which group you would like to ride in.

Route Information

The Rollfast Gran Fondo has three routes to choose from. The Piccolo, The Medio and The Gran. You can navigate each of these routes by following painted "Dan Henrys" on the road. Each route is color cordinated.

The Piccolo - Approximately 25 miles. This ride is for beginners, families or anybody that would like to take in the Fondo experience on a smaller scale.

The Medio - Approximately 62 miles. Our "medium" option for those looking for a little more distance and challenge in the ride.

The Gran - Approximately 100 miles. The GRAN is just that, GRAND. At over 100 miles all riders will be tested on this route.

"Dan Henrys" or Route Markers

Look for the WHITE CROWNS to help guide you through your route.

YELLOW CROWNS indicate an optional change in the route, such as a route split or a rest stop.

This photo shows an example of the route split for the 65 mile route. Left (Yellow) for the 65, or continue right following the White crown for the full 100 mile route.

Rest Stops also known as Stop And Go (SAG)

Support Vehicles

Each rider should come prepared with basic tools and tire repare supplies. However, should you need mechanical assistance on the road, we have 5 vehicles that will be on the road checking on riders.

In addition to mechanical assistance, the support vehicles will have limited water available if you are in desperate need of a refill on the Medio or Gran routes.

To request assistance, simply tap your helmet as the vehicle passes and they will stop ahead of you in a safe location.

This years mechanical support is gratiously provided by:
